Father’s Day garden update

Today I’ll start with the maple I’m trying to turn into a bonsai. He’s doing pretty well I think and seems to have stopped trying to be tall.

Richard is looking really good might be time for a snip here or there though.

Bob the 🍅 is currently working on 14 babies

The cilantro is still doing well has a bunch of seeds getting ready too.

And the jalapeno is working of 4 little guys for my belly 🙂

The sweet potatoes are umm potatoing I do believe

And little green beans flowering so nicely 🥰

You can kinda see it but the red pepper even has a flower today. This is the one I almost lost to the frost.

And the cucumbers being cucumbers all of them look about the same right now. Gotta finish the trellis for them to grow on. They have their feelers out lookin.

The baby onions are doing so well

Behold the mighty lettuce! Had some already so sweet and delicious.

Here’s the hibiscus it’s not mine but I grew it and plan to steal some flowers for tea one day.

The daily snipping and eating green onions mmm so yummy. And taste better now than when we got them from the store.

These are the babies I know what they all are does anybody else? And that’s a lie about 4 containers I forgot what they are lol

There’s my Garden photos for today, I'm Probably going on another hike here in a few days kiddo is feeling the itch to go wandering. Oh and the sparrows babies are fluttering around very confused by the deck it’s super cute.

Got alot done out in the Garden

Today was a pretty big day for the garden. With the help of my wife and kiddo we got most all the weeds and overgrowth cleared out. We also moved the plants out of pots and into the ground today. That I hope will let them grow even bigger. Here's what it looks like now a huge improvement.
That's all the garden plants some have perked up a bit since there transplanting. Oh and I finally got the rest of that tree stump removed and made a little planter that has lavender seeds planted in it.
I am really proud of what we got done today and wanna thank The wifey and kiddo for all their help.

On a side note I really enjoy all the planting and growing things. I kinda wanna find a way to do this for a living... Wonder how I would go about that....

Birthday Eve Camping

The campgrounds around here are closed not so much over Corona virus it's been closed for years something about plumbing remodeling. There's a KOA nearby too but it's closed that is due to Corona virus. So we went backyard camping! I had a great time and was told it was the best birthday Eve ever so that's a win in my book. Today my baby turns 14 she a freshman this year and honestly I couldn't be prouder of her. She truly is a blessing 🥰
Oh and some pictures pictures are allways good.
Well kiddo I love you and hope your birthday is everything you want it to be!

Made it to Davis Creek!

Wandered till we got back to the old ending point.

Kept going and found out that there is a bradley bourbonnais sportsmans club! Lived around here most of my life and have never known anybody that beloged to this place. I wonder if members can camp out there I saw rv's

Besides the awesome company of my counterpart there the trip was rather uneventful. Well we did find out that rich people sprinkler water tastes better than poor people tap water. Nods yes that is true! For a bit we wandered off into some raw woods but found a nice little spot to have some lunch... It was also a nice thing for the mosquito's as they also had some lunch.

Of the pictures I took she's least struggling here but she is in fact stuck in some serious mud

The woods were absolutly beautiful today just breathtaking. I did find out that the whole time going thru the woods off trail kiddo thought were were lost and I was just telling her we need to keep heading that way to make her feel better. I was not lost!

We made it to Davis Creek and Decided this was a good time to head home for today. Next we will be going to the rock creek area I can't wait for that wonder.

A little collage cause kiddo makes me proud

Oh and the kid thought these were just the coolest so I took a picture.

The Beginning of Hiking

Today Kiddo and I went for a walk. I said pack what you will need for an adventure and we left. On the walk I said hey let's see how far we could make it in an hour. So we walked almost non stop for the whole time and ended up at this rock.

It's in a park about 2 and a half miles away from were we started. Ultimatly we decided that every so often we are going to just start wandering and see how far we are going. Davis Creek is next!

Wish us luck!

P.S. We saw this super cute little guy while we were wandering :)
